Even in a completely wired network in any office building, there may still be security holes through wireless. How many staff members have laptops which they plug a LAN cable into but forgot to disable the wireless network card?

I love my wireless because on a nice sunny day, I can take my laptop out the backyard, and work from there.

Tons of wireless routers have been sold for home use. I don’t think people realize just how much their router is being used by others. There was a GPS service called Navizon that was using people’s wireless access devices to determine someone’s location (as opposed to true satelite GPS).

Ok thanks you got me on track about the speeds. Security has always been an issue in my mind and still is to some extent. at work I am in a complete lan environment I know there have been attempts to attack the system so there is access to something to have that happen.
