Michael Vick released from Prison

I for one am happy about this. Michael Vick was released today from his federal Prison in Kansas. He is heading back to Virginia and has to be in court on a bankruptcy hearing April 2, 2009.
I for one am glad that he is out of Prison. Now before people going on passing judgment on me, let me say that I do not approve of what he did to animals, and I am a huge animal lover myself and I even own a rescued fighting dog, however I am glad that he has been released and may still get a shot to play again.
I fully believe that he deserves a second chance and I hope he is granted one. Lets look at the NFL and we can see that some that have served time in prison for other things are back in the league. If Pac-Man deserved 3-4 chances, Mick Vick deserves another shot as well. Lets just hope he stays clean this time!

i’m have split feeling on this subject. i love animals so much and just imaging that he made dogs do that makes me think he should be in prison for way longer but he should get a second chance in life and on the NFL to see what he does.
I tell you he can still play but who wants him? He probbaly won’t come back it’s to bad
How long did he serve for? I guess he did enough time. Some violent criminals have probably done less time than he. I think he will play again.
I saw him on CNN as they were releasing him. Dog fighting is a bloody sport and i don’t understand how people can a thrill by watching animals tear each other apart
I agree that he deserves a second chance, but he needs to serve more time IMO. What he did is horrible…a few months in prison isn’t going to make him think twice about fighting dogs next time.
He should still be able to play ball though -
